Studio One Launches The Divine Cat
by Mike Shields
Web content syndicator Studio One has launched a new content offering geared for cat lovers, The Divine Cat, which Fresh Step has signed on to sponsor.
Studio One, which syndicates a variety of Web editorial content via a network that reaches close to 60 million unique users, is distributing The Divine Cat to various niche sites such as pawsperouspets.com and CatHelp-Online, as close to 20 CBS affiliate sites. The plan is to expand the number of sites receiving the program throughout the year, eventually extending its reach to 37 million users.
The new content, which is updated weekly, is aimed to appeal to cat owners who see their pets as revered members of the family, covering issues ranging from grooming to how best to entertain cats. A variety of interactive features will also be packaged with the content, such as polls, games and quizzes.
Julie Taylor, an author of several books and frequent contributor to magazines as Parents, Redbook, Seventeen and Glamour, will serve as managing editor of The Divine Cat.
